The onion domed Saint Basil’s Cathedral is a major architectural feature of Red Square in Moscow, alongside the Kremlin. Built between 1555 and 1560, it has 9 domes and is colorfully painted, making it an instantly recognisable and totally unique building. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990, the church operates mainly as a museum, with regular Russian Orthodox services being held there as well.
Piececool’s 711 piece kit pays tribute to the architectural marvel, with 7 sheets of precision etched and printed brass building a beautifully detailed model of Saint Basil’s to display alongisde our other architectural models.

I love this model! It’s highly detailed with many pieces. I’ve built the model, and I’m very happy with the results. However, Piececool needs to make more photos of the model available – especially pictures of the back. The instructions are great; they are typical of Piececool’s high standards. But sometimes a picture of the finished model from all angles is needed. I actually looked at pictures of the real Saint Basil’s Cathedral to verify how the back should look. I’d leave pictures of my model, but I don’t see an option to do that in my review.

I love this beautiful puzzle. The onion dooms are the hardest parts of this puzzle; however the metal pieces are quite strong, it’s did not break even I have struggled with it for an hour. And the most amazing thing is it can be done after you put in the effort and just do not give up. I wish they have more colour puzzle of world’s famous buildings besides this and the notre dame.
