St. Patrick’s Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. Patrick, is a Neo-Gothic Catholic church in New York City. It serves as the seat of the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York and as a parish church. Located on the east side of Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan, it faces Rockefeller Center. The cathedral is a prime example of Gothic Revival architecture and is one of New York’s major tourist attractions. The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York also takes place on the street in front of the cathedral.
