Tian’anmen Rostrum is located in the center of the capital city of Beijing. Its name encompasses the meaning of “Living the Heaven and the People’s Peace”. It has stood for more than 600 years and has witnessed many historical events. It has an extraordinary status and significance among the people of our country. On October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony was held here, and Tian’anmen Rostrumwas therefore designed into the national emblem and became a symbol of the People’s Republic of China.
