This kit builds an elaborate silver perfume sachet, based on a Tang Dynasty design, believed to have been a love token given by Emperor Xuanzong to his Concubine Yang Guifei. Piececool’s model combines an inner layer which models the original sachet, surrounded by an outer layer of more modern decorations including grapevines, flowers and birds symbolising dedication and interdependence – the vines are wrapped around the branches, the flowers and birds depend on each other, and the crane is a symbol of long-lasting love and loyalty in marriage.

The kit contains 7 metal sheets and 493 accessory components which combine to build a substantial decorative model measuring 26(l) x 15.5(w) x30cm(h).
