piececool’s One Thousand Origami Cranes are designed by the Romanian paper artist, Cristian Marianciuc. The crane itself has always been a strong symbol of success and good fortune in Japanese culture, and when folded into origami(paper-art), it is believed that your heart’s most wanted desire will come true only if one folds a thousand origami cranes.
piececool’s Origami Crane “Fortune” is specially designed to symbolize the wish to have a fortune and express the hope you get rich soon. |

This is one of six that they do each a different colour and representing something different. The metal, instructions and paint are all up to Piececool high standards. This was an easy and fairly quick build the difficult part for me is arranging the wings etc nicely, I am still working on that. It can be displayed either standing or hung up and that is where I am a bit disappointed in the model. It is only painted on one side so if you hang it above eye level all you will see is plain brass. That said it is a nice model and I enjoyed making it.
