The Yellow Crane Tower is a traditional Chinese tower on Snake Hill in Wuhan. There has been a building on the site for nearly 2000 years, and it is one of the most significant historical buildings in the Yangtze River area. Made famous in countless poems and songs, the tower is a major landmark standing 51m (170ft) tall.
