The octagonal 5 story Leifeng Pagoda was built in 975 AD, at the order of King Qian Chu of Wuyue. Although the original was built from wood, on a base of bricks, the current version was built in 1999 on the site of the orginal which collapsed in 1924, using steel and copper. Piececool’s model kit uses brass and steel components to make one of our most challenging models which will stand 23cm (9 inches) tall when finished.
