The Peacock is the king of birds – noble and elegant. They have gorgeous feathers and when their tails are displayed, they can look like a fan studded with gems. In traditional Chinese culture, they are an auspicious symbol: when you see the peacock’s tail is fanned, you will have good fortune. The peacock has also inspired dancers for many popular dances such as “The Spirit of Peacock” and “Love of Peacock”.
